It’s now the day after Christmas. What gifts did you get?
Due to my custody situation with my daughter, we’ll open gifts at our house tomorrow morning. We did the same yesterday with Suzanne’s family. But even without knowing the gifts I’ll receive tomorrow, I already know what I got for Christmas.
I got to spend a long weekend with Suzanne and her family.
I get to watch Annie open her gifts tomorrow, and then I get to spend several more days with her.
I get to see another year bloom with all its promise.
I get to keep doing a great job I enjoy very much.
I get to start looking for a new home with Suzanne soon.
I get to spend time with this majestic creature.
That’s what I got for Christmas. And it was all good.
