I’m not a morning person, but here I am blogging at 6:26AM because my oncologist, Dr. Daniel Dubovsky, has given me some good news. All the scanning and poking and prodding of the last couple days has indicated at least as a preliminary, that my cancer is localized to the meatball. I’m stage 1, which means fewer chemo treatments and a much better prognosis.
Can I toast Dr. Dubovsky for one simple thing, as well? He has e-mail, and he uses it. I got an e-mail from him personally this morning telling me this news. I swear, if more doctors did this, I wouldn’t have such utter distaste for them as a profession. Communication is key.
